The actor and actress shoot in Mallorca E-Book, the latest feature film by Olivier Assayas, winner of the best director award at the Cannes Film Festival 2016

A luxury team has shot in Mallorca these days some sequences of E-Book (provisional title), a full-fledged comedy about the Parisian publishing world.

The film, cast on the island by Palma Pictures and with the technical support of the Mallorca Film Commission, has a spectacular casting: Olivia Ross , Juliette Binoche , Guillaume Canet , Christa Théret , Vincent Macaigne or Pascal Greggory are some of the protagonists in the story.

Yesterday they visited the set of filming in S’Estanyol Cosme Bonet (Minister of Economy and Finance of the Consell de Mallorca), Paula Ginard (island director of Tourism and Crafts of the Consell de Mallorca), Pedro Barbadillo and Mireia Covas (of the Mallorca Film Commission of the Consell de Mallorca). This delegation could see in the first person how a film crew works, understand the great economic impact of the audiovisual sector (a strategic sector) for the island and hear how the good impressions of Mallorca that the French team had .

The Consell de Mallorca stated, as it has done other times, full support for these types of projects. It must be remembered that films like these hire large teams made up of island professionals, to which we must add the costs of accommodation, travel, meal service … And all this taking into account the activity of the audiovisual sector has no ecological impact and has a large seasonal component.
