The MilOjos Producen production company starts filming the Mallorcan chapter included in the documentary series I Love Wine . The series, made up of 7 chapters of 52 minutes, is intended for the American public and they discover wine regions unique in Spain, dedicating an entire chapter to Mallorcan wines, to the history, the culture, the gastronomy, the landscape and the people of the island . I Love Wine is supported by the Mallorca Film Commission, in collaboration with the Consell de Mallorca , within the framework of the agreement between the Mallorca Tourism Foundation and the ‘ ATB by the Government of the Balearic Islands from the winery association Small Wineries .

I Love Wine is starring Dan, an American wine lover who travels to Spain seeking the essence of the best wines in the country. And because of this, and always with wine as the main thread, Dan will discover the land that imprints the character in the wine, this essence that the locals try to capture in each bottle and that makes their product a unique experience.

The shooting of Mallorca includes the most beautiful and particular locations of the island, from the vineyards to areas such as Sa Calobra and Torrent de Pareis, to the sanctuary of Lluc, the figure of Ramon Llul, the sky The place where Chopin stayed, or the cliffs of Formentor and the bay of Sóller, without forgetting the gastronomy and the people of Mallorca. Through 10 essential visits, the protagonist discovers what the island has to arouse so much excitement and the reason for the love that a winemaker feels for his land.

In a dynamic format, I Love Wine is shot in high definition to show viewers a way of life linked to the earth, and to bring Mallorcan wines to the US market. , the series will feature the best winemakers and winemakers in Mallorca.

The main players in the sector included in the chapter, compile a complete and careful sample of the uniqueness of Mallorcan wines. In collaboration with Petits Bodegas, Dan will discover unique wine projects from the oldest wineries on the island, Cellas Ribas, to young projects such as Cellars 7103. The rest of the chapters of the series will cover essential places in Spain such as the Priorat, El Bierzo, La Rioja, Ribera de Duero, Rueda, Ribeira Sacra and Ries Baixas, among others. The pilot episode, filmed in El Bierzo, has been presented in MIPTV and MIP Doc in CANNES, and has been well received by American and European distributors. The goal is to finish the production of the series in the first half of 2018.
